RF Microneedling

Introduction

Introduction to RF Microneedling

RF microneedling is a powerful solution for restoring vitality and youthfulness to your complexion. In addition to clearing away surface-level blemishes, imperfections, and debris, it stimulates collagen and elastin production for longer-term skin suppleness and luminosity. Dr. Jennifer Buck at Dunedin Plastic Surgery is proud to offer patients in the Tampa Bay area access to this revolutionary skincare technology in Dunedin, Florida.

What is RF Microneedling?

RF microneedling builds on the successful technology of collagen induction therapy by adding radiofrequency energy into the mix. RF energy maximizes the body’s ability to produce collagen, leading to enhanced skin-tightening results and a rejuvenated appearance. The treatment is known to combat a wide array of aesthetic concerns, optimizing the skin’s tone, texture, and resilience. Where traditional microneedling relies on a series of tiny needles to create collagen-stimulating microinjuries, RF energy adds gentle but potent thermal warming to boost the production of the body’s natural youth-enhancing compounds. Whether you are dealing with chronic signs of aging or are seeking to renew your appearance before an important engagement, our team can design a winning treatment plan tailored to your needs.

She wears a close-fitting, light beige tank top, with subtle shadows enhancing the fabric's texture. The warm golden sunlight casts a relaxed glow, with a muted wall and dried palm fronds in the background. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and summery. - Mirconeedling in Dunedin, FL

What to Expect on the Day of RF Microneedling?

On the day of your Tampa Bay, FL, treatment, our team will apply topical numbing cream to your skin to ensure that your session is comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free. Once your skin is adequately numb, your provider will apply the RF microneedling device. Tiny needles are used to puncture the skin, and then RF energy is administered to heat the skin, causing immediate collagen contraction.. Both components of the treatment boost collagen and elastin production and address multiple cosmetic concerns, including wrinkles, lines, creases, acne scars, and poor skin tone/texture.

After your treatment, a soothing masque will be applied to cool and calm the skin.

A serum will be provided for you to use at home for the first 48 hours after treatment. You will be given aftercare instructions and all questions will be answered. A written copy of posttreatment instructions will be provided as well.
