What is a Secondary Facelift?
A secondary facelift is an outpatient surgical procedure designed to enhance, tighten, and rejuvenate facial tissues that have gradually loosened after a previous facelift. It is not a replacement for your first surgery. Instead, it reuses and refines existing incision sites in order to support skin lift and deeper tissue repositioning.
Patients often notice that the jawline begins to soften again, or that sagging returns below the cheeks or across the neck. A secondary facelift readdresses the same aging concerns but does not require the same full scope of dissection.
Dr. Buck focuses on the specific areas of concern and tailors her approach accordingly. The result is natural rejuvenation and contouring with less downtime and a more precise outcome.
